Perhaps, you have family in town that you want to show off the downtown area to or maybe, you just want to go exploring. Regardless of the reason, shopping near downtown Tacoma offers something for just about anyone. Start your shopping day down near University of Washington and the Union Station Historic District. Here, from 21st through 17th you're going to find quaint neighborhoods and great shopping. If you manage to make to make it down to the streets between 9th and 7th, make sure to take in the historic Antique Row. Known primarily for it's dramatic bluff that looks over Commencement Bay, it is also a hot bed of architectural wonderlands. Have lunch in one of the quaint and cozy pubs or a trendy restaurant.
